For those “na-sayers”–it is the skyline that defines the city…stupid! Adding a center-piece like some of the depictions above would bring SF into the 21st century.
People love going to cities to see not only parks, great restaurants but also to see the beautiful skyline.
San Francisco has been in need of a change now for at least 2 1/2 decades!
Please, someone give SF a face-lift… something in the neighborhood of 1,200+ feet!
Those 3 renderings make SF look awesome!

I haved lived in many cities hroughout the US and consider San Francisco one of my favorites. The city, its climate and its history are extrordinary. BUT , when I lived there the Manhattanization of San Francisco was considered to be disgusting. Now to be build a super -skyscraper like that being proposed makes me ask why? Ofcourse the technology of today is much better than years gone by, besides being a possible terrorist target and earthquake casualty does San Francisco need this tower? Is not the traffic there enough ? Do you need more commuters in your city? Forget Manhattan does San Francisco need to look like Hong Kong??
